Job Description: Job Purpose The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth, partnerships, and market engagement for Executive Education at the College of Business and Economics (CBE), UAEU. The role focuses on developing high-impact executive programs, building strategic relationships, enhancing market visibility, and supporting MBA and institutional initiatives aligned with UAEUâs strategic goals. Key Responsibilities 1. Executive Education Development & Delivery - Design and develop open-enrolment and customized executive education programs. - Identify market needs and translate them into relevant, high-quality course offerings. - Collaborate with faculty and external experts to deliver impactful learning experiences. - Oversee the planning, marketing, and execution of executive education programs. 2. Business Development & Client Engagement - Build and maintain a strong network of corporate, government, and institutional partners across the UAE. - Identify and engage decision-makers to generate new business opportunities. - Develop tailored proposals and solutions to meet client learning and development needs. - Drive revenue generation through executive education offerings and partnerships. 3. Strategic Partnerships & Collaboration - Establish and manage partnerships with international business schools and local entities. - Lead the development and execution of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). - Co-develop and deliver joint executive education programs with partners. - Strengthen CBEâs global and regional reputation through strategic collaborations. - 4. Marketing, Visibility & Thought Leadership - Increase CBE and UAEU visibility through: o Organizing and hosting seminars/webinars (e.g., STEPS Forum) o Encouraging faculty to publish articles on business trends and UAE organizations o Encouraging faculty to develop white papers on relevant economic and business topics - Support marketing campaigns and outreach initiatives for executive education programs. - Represent CBE at industry events and forums. 5. Business Immersion & Study Tours - Develop and manage business immersion study tours (inbound and outbound). - Coordinate with international partners for program design and delivery. - Arrange company visits, executive speakers, and logistics. - Host and facilitate visiting delegations. 6. MBA Program & Academic Support - Support the development and execution of new MBA initiatives. - Contribute to experiential learning projects and business engagement activities. - Coordinate guest speakers and industry experts for MBA courses. - Assist in organizing international study tours for MBA students.
