Role Overview
We are seeking high-performing, results-driven Senior Sales Manager / Business Development Manager with strong experience in EdTech / Education Solutions / ICT to lead strategic growth across the GCC.
This is a consultative, solution-selling role , requiring the ability to engage with C-level stakeholders, government entities, and institutional decision-makers to deliver large-scale, multi-solution deals.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
• Drive revenue growth across GCC markets, with clear ownership of sales targets (multi-million AED pipeline)
• Identify, develop, and close high-value opportunities in government, higher education, and private sector
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across digital content, AI solutions, STEM labs, and micro-credentials
Strategic Account Management
• Manage and grow key accounts including ministries, universities, and large education groups
• Lead renewals, cross-selling, and upselling strategies across existing clients
• Establish long-term partnerships aligned with national education transformation agendas
• Position integrated solutions combining:
• Digital content
• Learning platforms
• AI & immersive technologies
• Skills & certification programs
• Conduct high-impact presentations, demos, and workshops for senior stakeholders
• Identify and manage RFPs, tenders, and large procurement opportunities
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for proposal development
• Navigate complex procurement cycles and compliance requirements
• Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
• Provide strategic insights to support expansion into new markets (including Africa)
• Contribute to product positioning and go-to-market strategies
Candidate Profile
Experience
• 5–7 years of experience in:
• EdTech / Education Solutions
• Publishing / Digital Learning
• ICT / Enterprise Solutions (education vertical preferred)
• Proven track record of closing large deals (AED 1M – 10M+)
• Strong experience in GCC markets (UAE / KSA preferred)
Domain Expertise
• Experience working with:
• Universities / school groups
• Strong understanding of:
• Learning platforms, content solutions, or skills programs
• Experience handling:
• Long sales cycles
• Excellent consultative selling and negotiation skills
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to sell integrated, multi-solution offerings
• Strategic thinking with a strong commercial mindset
