Operations & Business Development Manager – Logistics & Freight Forwarding Company: Globe Trade and Forwarding FZCO Location: Dubai Industry: Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance & Courier Services Job Summary We are looking for a highly experienced Operations & Business Development Manager with strong knowledge of UAE logistics, freight forwarding, air freight operations, customs clearance, courier operations and Dubai Trade documentation procedures. The candidate will be responsible for managing complete logistics operations, coordinating with clients, guiding operations staff, handling shipment processes, and developing logistics business opportunities across UAE Mainland and Free Zones including DXB, DWC and JAFZA. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in air freight operations, customs procedures, Dubai Trade systems, business development and customer handling. Key Responsibilities ✅ Operations Management Manage complete logistics and freight forwarding operations Supervise shipment handling from booking to final delivery Coordinate with airlines, agents, transporters and customs authorities Monitor operational performance and ensure smooth workflow Handle shipment planning and cargo movement ✅ Air Freight Operations Book air cargo space with airlines and agents Coordinate air export and import shipments Monitor flight schedules, departures, arrivals and handovers Provide freight rates and shipment updates to clients Handle AWB and air freight documentation ✅ Customs & Documentation Guide operations staff on Dubai Trade documentation procedures Handle BOE preparation and customs declaration procedures Manage import/export documentation and customs clearance Ensure compliance with Dubai Customs and UAE regulations Coordinate customs inspections and approvals ✅ Client Coordination Communicate professionally with clients Maintain strong customer relationships ✅ Business Development & Sales Develop logistics and freight forwarding business Generate new customers and business opportunities Promote company logistics and courier services Build relationships with airlines, agents and corporate clients ✅ Team Management Train and supervise operations staff Ensure proper documentation procedures Improve operational efficiency and service quality Monitor staff performance and workflow Required Experience & Skills ✔ Minimum 5–10 years UAE logistics experience ✔ Strong knowledge in: Air Freight Operations / Courier Operations / Dubai Trade System / Dubai Customs Procedures / BOE Processing / Customs Clearance / Import & Export Documentation / Freight Forwarding Operations ✔ Strong knowledge in Business Development & Sales ✔ Strong airline coordination experience ✔ Knowledge of freight rates and cargo booking ✔ Good communication and leadership skills ✔ Ability to guide operations staff and handle client communication Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain / Business Administration UAE Driving License preferred Salary & Benefits Competitive Salary UAE Employment Visa Medical Insurance Annual Vacation & Leave Salary Annual Air Ticket Apply Now Interested candidates with strong UAE logistics and air freight experience may send their updated CV with expected salary details to Jaseem.gtf@gmail.com Pay: From AED10,000.00 per month Education: Master's (Preferred) Experience: at least: 5 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
