Role: B2B Business Development Manager- Polished Diamonds
Location: Dubai, UAE (Primary) with regional responsibility
Salary: AED 10,000-12,000 (negotiable)

The company specializes in premium polished diamonds (loose diamonds only), serving B2B clients including diamond retailers, jewelry manufacturers, and wholesale dealers across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and North America. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development and Client Acquisition
Identify and develop relationships with B2B clients including retailers, wholesale dealers, and jewelry manufacturers
Execute go-to-market strategies for assigned regions including the Middle East, South Asia, and Europe
Generate leads through direct outreach, industry networks, and international trade shows
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends
Maintain and track a strong sales pipeline using CRM systems
Relationship Management and Account Development
Act as the primary contact for key client accounts
Conduct client meetings to present products, negotiate terms, and build long-term partnerships
Develop product offerings aligned with client needs and market demand
Manage negotiations and close sales agreements
Maintain ongoing client communication to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
Apply strong knowledge of diamond grading, certifications, and quality standards
Sales Execution and Revenue Generation
Achieve assigned sales targets and performance metrics
Manage pricing, order processing, and coordination with internal teams
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
Prepare sales reports including market feedback and performance insights
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
Market Intelligence and Strategic Input
Monitor global market trends, pricing movements, and competitor activity
Share market insights related to demand patterns and regional opportunities
Support pricing and product positioning decisions through market analysis
Exhibitions and Industry Events
Participate in major international diamond and jewelry exhibitions
Represent the company professionally to engage clients and generate leads
Follow up on opportunities generated through events
Compliance and Documentation
Ensure transactions comply with Kimberley Process, KYC, AML, and local regulations
Maintain accurate documentation including certificates, invoices, and shipping records
Coordinate with compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements
Team Collaboration
Work closely with operations, logistics, quality, and finance teams
Support internal coordination to ensure smooth execution of sales activities.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Professional Experience
Minimum 8–10 years of hands-on experience in B2B sales or business development within the diamond industry
Proven experience in polished or loose diamond trading
Strong track record of closing high-value B2B transactions
Experience in building and managing key client accounts
Exposure to international or multi-location business environments, including major diamond hubs, is an advantage
Knowledge and Expertise
Strong knowledge of diamond grading systems including the 4Cs
Good understanding of major diamond certifications
Familiarity with conflict-free diamond sourcing and industry compliance standards
Understanding of global diamond market dynamics and pricing
Knowledge of B2B jewelry manufacturing and retail sector practices
Technical and Communication Skills
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present insights to senior stakeholders
Strong English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage
Comfortable using digital tools and online communication platforms.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, International Business, or a related field
MBA or other advanced business qualification is an advantage
Certification in diamond grading or relevant industry certification
Prior experience in Antwerp or the Belgian diamond market
Understanding of Middle Eastern business culture and trading practices
Exposure to ethical sourcing and responsible jewelry standards
Experience handling high-value B2B negotiations
Additional language skills beyond English are an advantage.
BenefitsSalary Structure (AED per month)
Base salary of AED 10,000 to 12,000 (negotiable) depending on experience and proven track record
Sales commission of approximately 1 to 2 percent on closed transactions, subject to final decision
