KBR Abu Dhabi is currently looking to fill a position of PROJECT MANAGER for an Offshore Project to be based in Abu Dhabi in Client Office or Client Proposed Office. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of offshore projects in line with contractual requirements, safety standards, quality, cost, and schedule. The role leads multi‑disciplinary teams and coordinates with internal stakeholders, clients, and contractors to ensure successful offshore project delivery. Key Responsibilities Project Management & Execution Lead end‑to‑end execution of offshore projects from engineering through construction, commissioning, and handoverDevelop and manage project execution plans, schedules, and budgetsEnsure compliance with contractual obligations, technical specifications, and regulatory requirementsControl project scope, manage changes, risks, and opportunitiesEnsure timely achievement of project milestones and deliverablesOffshore Operations & Coordination Oversee offshore construction, installation, commissioning, and hook‑up activitiesCoordinate with marine, logistics, yard, and offshore teamsEnsure safe execution of offshore works in compliance with HSE and marine regulationsManage interface coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractorsHealth, Safety & Environment (HSE) Promote and enforce a strong HSE cultureEnsure compliance with company, client, and regulatory HSE standardsParticipate in risk assessments, HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOPS, and toolbox talksEnsure zero harm philosophy is followed throughout the project lifecycleClient & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary interface with the client and key stakeholdersConduct regular project review meetings and provide progress updatesManage client expectations and resolve issues proactivelyCoordinate with classification societies and regulatory authorities when requiredCost Control & Commercial Management Monitor project costs, cash flow, and forecastsApprove variations, claims, and subcontractor payments as per authority matrixEnsure adherence to approved budgets and identify cost‑saving opportunitiesTeam Leadership & Performance Lead and motivate a multi‑disciplinary project teamAssign responsibilities and ensure effective performance managementProvide mentoring, guidance, and performance feedbackFoster collaboration across engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, and offshore teamsReporting & Documentation Prepare and present weekly and monthly project status reportsReport on schedule, cost, risk, quality, and safety performanceEnsure proper project documentation and final close‑out reports Qualification & Experience Minimum Overall 20+ years of experience in Oil and Gas industry.10–15+ years of project management experienceMinimum 5–7 years in offshore oil & gas or offshore EPC projectsProven experience managing offshore platforms, jackets, subsea, FPSO, or brownfield tie‑ins.Experience with major offshore operators and EPC contractorsStrong exposure to engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioningMust have worked at least 5 years of experience in similar position for mega oil and gas FEED/ EPC project ( more than US$ 1 Billion).Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a MUST.
