As part of our Information Systems (IS) team, you will drive operations automation and enhance our IT production services, which support over 60 million Ubuntu users. In this role, you will: • Drive the development of automation and GitOps as an embedded tech lead within your team. • Collaborate with the IS architect to align your solutions with the IS architecture vision. • Design and architect services that IS can offer to the organization as products. • Apply your experience of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to enhance automation and improve processes. • Maintain operational responsibility for the company's core services, networks, and infrastructure. • Develop skills in troubleshooting and performance investigation through observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. • Collaborate with globally distributed engineering, operations, and support teams. Requirements: • Strong background in hosting architecture driven by IaC across private and public clouds. • Experience in Python software development with large projects. • Familiarity with Kubernetes or other container orchestration systems. • Proven experience in managing and deploying cloud infrastructure via code. • Proficient in Linux networking, routing, firewalls, and storage solutions. • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering field. • Language Requirement: Able to communicate clearly in English (spoken and written).
