Role Overview
As Manager of Business Development, you will play a key executional and strategic role in scaling UnlockLand's revenue and partnerships. Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development, you will own deal execution, pipeline development, and partner relationships across priority markets.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, sales execution, and partnerships—and who is excited to grow within a high-impact AI startup.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Pipeline Development
Own and manage a qualified pipeline of enterprise, institutional, and public-sector prospectsExecute outbound and inbound business development initiatives across target marketsLead discovery calls, product demos, and early-stage commercial discussionsSupport deal structuring, pricing discussions, and contract negotiationsPartnerships & Strategic Accounts
Build and manage relationships with developers, investors, consultants, and government stakeholdersIdentify and execute strategic partnerships that accelerate market entry and adoptionCollaborate with the VP of Business Development on account prioritization and expansion strategyGo-To-Market Execution
Translate company strategy into executable BD campaigns and account plansWork closely with Product, Marketing, and Leadership to align messaging with customer needsGather market feedback and customer insights to inform product roadmap and positioningOperations & Reporting
Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline forecastsTrack performance metrics including leads, conversion rates, and deal velocitySupport process improvement for scalable business development operationsQualifications
3–6 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or strategyExperience working with B2B SaaS, PropTech, AI, or data-driven platforms preferredStrong communication and relationship-building skillsComfortable engaging with senior decision-makers (developers, investors, government leaders)Highly organized, analytical, and execution-focusedExperience working in fast-paced startup environments is a plus
