Role Overview
As a consultant within CFO and Enterprise Value (CFO&EV), you will:
• Support our clients to achieve their strategic and operational goals, introduce efficient ways of working and enhance processes and refine operating models.
• Support addressing complex and ambiguous client business challenges by applying rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques (business case); take decisions with little management oversight.
• Support design thinking workshops, showcase agile design to the client, co-develop and secure design decisions and innovative solutions in an agile manner.
• Cultivate relationships with clients during engagements and ensure business requirements and expectations are met or exceeded.
• Support business development activities including identifying opportunities, developing and presenting proposals.
• Support development of CFO&EV practice and community capabilities, such as developing tender responses, assets, and relevant thought leadership, and engage with the wider CFO&EV and other teams across Accenture.
• Continuously learn new skills and enhance your knowledge set to be able to contribute to the growth of CFO&EV as well as the wider Accenture organization.
Qualifications
What skills and experience are we looking for?
• Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting. Master's degree or MBA is a strong plus.
• 3+ years of experience in consulting.
• Deep level of knowledge of business processes in finance and accounting, and the enablement in ERP systems.
• Good functional knowledge of key features of major ERP (SAP/Oracle) and hands-on experience (functional expertise).
• Good expertise in process digitization (RPA, ML, process mining), with experience on the ground with some of the cutting-edge solutions such as AI and Gen AI process enriched process automation.
• Experience in delivering—as a team member—finance transformation projects where ERP implementation and process automation are key enablers (process design, functional specs, user support).
• Ability and willingness to interact across service groups (e.g., technology for system implementation).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high commitment to quality client service.
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with the capacity to interact autonomously with client middle management.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a benefit.
• Strong expertise in MS Office—particularly MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
• Experience in client proposals, RFP responses and support the preparation of C-level decks.
Additional expertise in any of the activities below is a benefit:
• Design finance business processes (OTC, PTP, RTR) to be enabled by ERP (SAP/Oracle).
• Design of the chart of accounts.
• Expertise in financial consolidation (statutory reporting).
• Design controlling model, identifying key reporting dimensions.
• Financial statement (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow) reconciliation.
• Design key design decision documents.
• Delegation of authority review in alignment with the new processes.
• Identify key impacts on the operating model.
• Support in the preparation of status reports.
• Support preparation of the value case for finance transformation.
