Key responsibilities Providing guidance to design teamswrttechnical specification of software/firmware design especially considering international standards, practices, and certification. Providing guidance to technical design teamsregardingevaluation, testingpractices and methodsand coding. Implementation of sound and advanced engineering practices. Organise and chair design reviews. Firmware Requirement Specifications and Interface Control Specifications. Specialist knowledgeregardingselection and application of hardware devices applicable to Firmware. Mentoring and training of junior technical personnel. Provides inputs to managementregardingfuture software requirements and needs.Assistin the generation of a technology horizon plan that includes resources and software development tools.
